What have i been up to?

Am I a writer? This is a question I have started to ask myself.

I am a runner - I would describe myself as that, which is ironic since I am now three months without running to to the fractured ankle. That has been a temporary setback. I should actually have been running The Wall today. 113km from Carlisle to Gateshead.

Sigh.

Instead I have chosen to create a Print on Demand Version of Pirates Don’t Clean their Teeth. I’ve been working through Ingram Sparks to turn my 17 year old illustrations into a brand new, POD version.

Three things I learned in that time.

1) I’m very happy to make things up as I go along, and get them wrong many times.

2) With enough patience it is possible to get things right

3) I have a beautiful book. I just wish the words were not imbedded in the files that I had.

That said. Today Pirates Don’t Clean their Teeth lives again. That’s officially a whoop. It should be available all over the world. The next challenge will be to market it. However the first plan is to finish the portfolio - that means for now - we should have a Print on Demand version of Pirates, an e-book, and an audiobook. As well as the same for Dinosaurs don’t Eat Tomatoes. Then - and only then will I begin some marketing type activities. Once people find my books, I would like to be able to buy all of them! If they like.
